Caring is our middle name

Border Caring Services (BCS) have been providing high quality home care and support services in Galashiels, Hawick, Peebles & Selkirk areas for over twenty years. We are a registered local charity and our business is run on a not-for-profit basis. This allows any surplus we make to be ploughed back into running and developing the business; and also develop projects to support vulnerable and elderly people in our community.

About Us
Border Caring Services was formed in 1996.
Our mission is simple: to provide and develop individual community care and support services of the highest quality in Galashiels, Hawick, Peebles & Selkirk areas.
We are registered with the Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland to provide care and support to vulnerable people in their own homes and to the following groups:
Older people
People with dementia
People with a learning disability
People with mental health problems
People with physical difficulties and acquired brain injury
People with visual or hearing impairments
People who require end of life and palliative support
We provide care and support to private clients throughout the region and also by arrangement to public sector bodies and housing providers.
We can provide relief cover for staff at local care homes and day centres throughout the Borders.
Many people now choose to manage their own care service through SDS and the Direct Payments scheme and we welcome enquires on their needs and the services they are seeking.
