Because an innocent animal should not be condemned through the negligence/laziness/stupidity of a mere human being...
Guest#52 Mar 29, 2016, 22:49
It is not the Animal at fault here but pure human error!!
Guest#53 Mar 29, 2016, 23:10
wil nie die dier moet dood geskiet word nie
Guest#54 Mar 29, 2016, 23:31
Why kill the lion if they are too incompetent to look after it properly?? Shoot the people that wants to shoot it!!
Guest#55 Mar 30, 2016, 00:07
Absolutely ridiculous that one man can decide about the killing of such a beautiful wild animal as he has escaped twice. Glad I'm not restricted to this fate. Shocking!!!
Guest#56 Mar 30, 2016, 00:10
Re:
I totally agree. Since when does a lion get killed for escaping twice? Pure madness!
Guest#57 Mar 30, 2016, 00:31
Why kill an innocent and speciment of endangered species? Fix your fences or relocate him!
Guest#58 Mar 30, 2016, 01:35
Its not his fault there's problems with the fence..and God created him..don't kill animals if you won't eat them..
Guest#59 Mar 30, 2016, 01:58
Because it's not doing anything it's not supposed to . If you want to have a lion then put up a fence that he can't get out of .
Guest#60 Mar 30, 2016, 02:02
To save a beautiful annimal. Why just shoot relocate!!
Guest#61 Mar 30, 2016, 02:24
Protect not kill..its not his fault!
Guest#62 Mar 30, 2016, 03:09
I signed this petition because I hate seeing animals get killed for no reason. Sylvester the lion escaped from a hole in a fence, he didn't kill or harm any humans, nor did he attack or harm domestic animals. The fault for his escapes lies with the humans who didn't bother to repair the fence after his first escape. Killing this innocent creature for nothing more than escaping the fence is uncalled for and cruel.

Hoekom moet leeu geskiet word omdat drade nie instand gehou word nie. Fout nie by leeu nie maar by parkeraad personeel wat nie hul werk doen nie.
Guest#64 Mar 30, 2016, 03:51
Sylvester is doing what comes naturally to him. Don't punish him for being a lion. Relocate him to a bigger park.
Guest#65 Mar 30, 2016, 03:54
I signed because there are so many other options than killing this beautiful animal!
Guest#66 Mar 30, 2016, 04:01
If government sees it fit killing an animal for breaking through a damaged fence, maybe they should be doing the same to government officials breaking the law. #logic?
Guest#67 Mar 30, 2016, 04:04

I care about the welfare of animals.
Guest#70 Mar 30, 2016, 04:35
Sanparks are to blame.
Guest#71 Mar 30, 2016, 04:36
I cannot stand the senseless killing of any animal. I am sure they can find a different solution.
Guest#72 Mar 30, 2016, 04:36
Sanpark is to be blamed. How did he get out??????????
Guest#73 Mar 30, 2016, 04:38
It's silly to kill him. Send him away to a bigger park or make sure the park is secure. He is a wild animal after all.
Guest#74 Mar 30, 2016, 04:40
