Will surely miss this when it's "gone".
Haven't been listening to this radio station for quite some time now. But, they've been a huge part of my listening sessions during the morning rush while I was in college with the Zach & Joey Show; and then some Blues listening sessions during Tuesday nights with Cousin Hoagy. And yeah... not to mention Ron T's (original host) Against The Flow during Monday nights.

Who among my contemporaries at church back then would even ever forget the night we first played On-Air at NU's A.T.F. (then already hosted by DJ Jordan) along with a "groupie" from some foreign land; not to mention Karla's breaking news about her pregnancy with Maya that very same night.
...good times with The Station That Rocked The Nation. :)

NU forever
sa dami po ng radio station sa pinas,bakit NU pa ang papalitan.eto lng ang nag iisang radio staion na nakakatanggal ng homesick namin dito sa disyerto..sana naman po wag nyo ipagkait sa amin ito.marami po kaming mga nasa disyerto ang nakikinig sa NU..maraming salamat NU107..mananatili ka sa puso namin..

Save the rock bastion
I used to work for NU107, I was in their Advertising and Promotions Dept for almost ten years before I moved out here to the US almost 6 years ago. I was so shocked and sad when I heard the news..
I was wondering what really pushed them over the edge to sell-out? Are the ratings that bad? Are Sales and Advertising on a record low? I know radio is slowly dying.... even out here in the United States they are not doing so well. But NU107 doesn't have to "reformat". Couldn't they just go mainstream and yet make sure they still have rock segments on the weekends? it's just a suggestion, it could work but it could also be a bad idea. Just thinking out loud.

If NU 107 changes format, this will be one of the saddest day in Philippine Rock history. I really hope it doesn't happen. May God have mercy on Pinoy Rock!

wag naman sana mwala ang NU at kung ma rereformat man , wag naman sana maging pop station ! kundi madaling kakasawaan nang tao libo libong rakista peeps ang mawawalan nang interest makinig ! madaming kaming listeners nang NU at kasama na namin ito mula noon pa ! nakakadismaya talaga na malamang mawawawala na ang isa sa haligi nang musik industry sa pinas na nag propromote nang good and certified quality na music. tigilan na sana ang kalokohang aalisin or rereformat ang NU! mahirap tanggalin ang hindi lang nakasanayan kundi naging parte nang buhay namin!
