Freedom as a nation means it has the right to choose a government it believes in -whether left or right, it has a right to codify its values and defend them -whether they are pro-life or pro-death, it has a right to be patriotic -whether it is politically correct to be so or not. Servitude and fear of the larger, wealthier powers destroys the soul of a nation. Hungary has never won anything in its history when she kow-towed to "Big Brother" , whoever that was at the moment. Hungary can use its smallness to advantage. Its people -whether formally educated or belonging to the labor class- are thinkers and when bonded together by love of country, think their way out of problems.

Bár én nem szavaztam a Fideszre (Jobbiknak drukkolok), de amit a cohn-bendit-félék művelnek Magyarországgal, az felháborító. Orbánnak nagyon nehéz a helyzete, sok hibát követ el, de remélem, hogy kitart azon álláspontja mellet, hogy nem engedi, hogy az EU diktáljon. (Persze félek, hogy ez csak a retorikájában van így, a valóságban be fog hódolni, mert őt is sok fideszes balliberális veszi körül). Ettől függetlenül, hajrá Magyarország, le az Európai Únióval!

A békemenet az összefogás diadala. Még soha ennyien nem mozdultak meg egy felkiáltásra az ország, az elsöprő többség által választott kormány, az alkotmányos vívmányok és Orbán Viktor védelmében. Megszólaltak tengerentúli magyar szervezetek, megmozdult a Kárpát-medencei magyarság, Székelyföld számos településén rokonszenv tüntetések lesznek, több helyütt kivetítőket helyeznek ki, hogy a televíziók adásán keresztül követhessék a békemenetet.
The Peace Walk is the triumph of joining forces. Never before have the masses mobilized themselves for a call in defence of an elected government, the constitutional achievements and Viktor Orbán. Overseas Hungarian orgainzations let themselves heard and Hungarians in the Carpathian range rose as one man. Sympathy demonstrations will be held in several communities in the land of the Székelys the ethnic Hungarians in Transylvania. Projectors will be placed outdoors to enable everyone to follow the Peace Walk properly.

Magyarország nem csupán ledobta magáról a gyarmati lét rabszolgaláncait, hanem most példát mutat Európa népeinek a válság megoldására is. Az emberek szerte az egész országban ezt értették meg és érezték át. Felfogták, hogy a bukásától rettegő globális hatalom bármire hajlandó, hogy pozícióját megvédje, s ha kell, letiporja Magyarországot. És ezt nem hagyják. Ahogy erősödött a támadások hevessége, úgy nőtt az ellenállás akarata.
Hungary not only dropped the chains of colonial existence but now it’s being an example of the peoples of Europe to solve the crisis. People throughout the country understood this message, felt great empathy and also understood that the global power in fear of its own collapse is willing to do whatever it takes to secure its positions even by crushing Hungary. The people of this country will not let it happen. As the severity of attacks against Hungary increased, so increased the will of the resistance.

2012 ugyanis nem 1956. Inkább a válasz rá. A magyar néplélek pontosan ugyanúgy, ugyanolyan csodálatos egyöntetűséggel szólalt ma meg, mint akkor. Akkor se központi utasításra mentek ki az utcára az emberek, ahogy most is spontán indult el ez a folyamat. A cél mindkét esetben ugyanaz volt: önrendelkezés és igazság. A cselekvés vágya most is benne volt a levegőben. Most is csak a jelre várt mindenki. Amikor pedig a jel elhangzott, egyszerre mozdult meg az egész ország, mert már alig várta, hogy megmozdulhasson. Tanultunk a közelmúlt példáiból is. A Facebookon hihetetlen erejű szervezkedés zajlott és zajlik. Az erre fogékonyak teremtettek maguknak saját nyilvánosságot, mit sem törődve a fősodratú média passzivitásával.
2012 is not 1956, rather a response to it but the Hungarian soul responded exactly the same way, with the same wonderful unity these days, as back then in 1956. Hogy miért békemenet ez? Mert olyan erejű támadássorozat érte hazánkat, ami felér egy invázióval. A cél Orbán Viktor megbuktatása és a helyére egy bankárbábú ültetése. Ez az, amit nem tűrhetünk. Nem engedjük, hogy egyenként levadásszák demokratikusan választott vezetőinket. Ha csak egyről lemondunk, a dominót nem tudjuk megállítani. Ahogy Dumas három testőre tett fogadalmat egymás megvédésére, úgy fogadtuk meg mi is 2010 tavaszán, hogy „egy mindenkiért, mindenki egyért”, mert hittünk a szeretet és az összefogás erejében – és győztünk.
Why Peace Walk? Beacause Hungary was recently hit hard by such massive series of attacks which is equivalent to an invasion. The objective of the attackers is clear, to overthrow Viktor Orban and to place a banker-puppet in his place. That’s what we do not tolerate. We will not let our democratically elected leaders be hunted down one by one. If we sacrifice just one of them, we will not be able to stop the domino-effect. As the three musketeers of Dumas pledged to protect each other, so did we pledged in the spring of 2010, “one for all and all for one”, because we believed in the power of love and unity – and we won.

Szombaton négy órakor indulunk. Kipróbáltam, a menetidő kényelmes tempóban egy óra. Ötkor a menet eleje a Kossuth téren lesz, fél hatra szinte már mindenki odaér. A gazdák traktorokkal jönnek. Tarlós István főpolgármester kiadta az útvonalengedélyt. Ők a menet végén jönnek, s az Andrássyról az Akadémia úton át érik el a Parlamentet, ami rövidebb lesz, így ők is időben érnek oda.
We depart on Saturday at 4 PM. The duration of the walk is an hour in convenient pace, I tried it myself. The front row of the Walk will reach Kossuth tér by 5PM and the last rows arrive half an hour later at 5.30PM. The farmers will come on their tractors. Budapest Mayor, István Tarlós already granted access to them. They will come at the end of the Peace Walk and reach the Parliament via Akadémia út, which makes their way shorter, so they can arrive to the destination on time.

Az idősebbek és akiknek nehezükre esik a járás, jöjjenek egyenest a Kossuth térre, délután öt órára. Pártlogókat, pártzászlókat ne hozzon senki, ez civil tüntetés a fentebb leírt célokért. Ha ilyet látnak, szólítsák fel az illetőt a zászló vagy a jelvény bevonására. Hozzanak viszont mécsest, olyat, ami meggyújtva nem égeti a kezet, mint például a temetői mécsesek. Négy órakor még világos lesz, ötkor lassan szürkülni fog, fél hatra besötétedik, s a mécsesek lángja szépen érvényesül. Hajrá Magyarország! Hajrá magyarok!
Elderly, disabled or handicapped citizens should come directly to Kossuth tér at 5 PM. Please leave your party protest boards, party flags or badges at home, this is a civil initiative for the above stated objectives. If you discover such a flag or board in the crowd, kindly ask the owner to dismantle it. However, bring a small candle, something that will not burn your hands, such as the ones in cemeteries. At 4 PM there will still be light outside but around 5 PM it starts to grow dark and at 6PM darkness takes over. That’s our candles’ time.
