ADMINISTRATOR TO RELEASE NOTICE OF YNITU NATIONAL CONGRESS NOW!
YNITU Members Demand the following from the appointed Administrator, Gerhard Volso.
1. Labour Court Judgement by Hon. J Mahosi ordered that the appointed administator Gerhard Voslo for a period of one year and ordered that the administrator will call the National Congress, where the National Office Bearers will be elected. We therefore demand Release of the Notice of the National Congress in line with the YNITU Constitution.
2. As members we have observed a decrease in crucial union activities since administration. We therefore demand a full six months full disclosure report extending from 1 September 2024 - 31 March 2025 on member growth, recruitment, brand visibility, structure formation, cases management, collective agreements, working together aggreements, union activities (meetings, campaigns, marches), collections, finances, service providers. Twelve Months report on the same to be tabulated at the National Congress.
3. We further demand that the Administrator desist from implementing any unlawful and unconstitutional amendments to the YNITU constitution and removal of any office bearer or official currently in office. The National Congress remain the highest decision making body of union with sole powers to amend the constitution and elect office bearers.
