Cap rates increase for Taupo and Districts

Hey Guys, 

Thanks so much for signing the petition. I'm sure like me you're wondering how on earth you are going to accomodate this proposed 8.7% rates increase into your already tight budgets. The good news is, we needed five signatures to get this petition published. The bad news is, so far, only 15 people have signed it. judging from reactions on the Taupo Notice Board, there are many many more people annoyed and worried about this increase. We just need to get them to jump on and sign this petition. I feel like it's our best shot at getting the town leadership to the table to answer some tough questions publicly. Please publish this petition on your social media and talk to your friends about it.
