2021-01-25 20:09:47Thank you to all those who signed the petition! As the purpose of the petition was to communicate our desire with the bishops of Indiana, the petition has now been closed, printed, and mailed to each of the bishops in the state.
The petition was created and promoted for one month, which was our original intention. While more signatures would have been welcome, the petition cannot go on indefinitely particularly because the issue of lockdown is a time-sensitive matter.
For those who did not get the opportunity to sign the petition, please feel free to copy the petition text to ideas a letter with your signature to send to the bishops. Their addresses are available on the diocesan websites.
