Attivare volo easyJet Basilea-Pescara o Basilea-Ancona

V Valeria Serpentini · CH

(Versione italiana in basso)

We, the undersigned, request easyJet to introduce a direct flight between Basel and Pescara or Basel and Ancona to meet the strong demand for connections between Switzerland and the central Adriatic coast.

🔹 Why is this route necessary?

✅ No direct flights between Switzerland and Central Adriatic Italy

Currently, flights from Switzerland to Italy mostly connect to the North (Milan, Venice) or the South (Naples, Bari), leaving a large central area underserved, including Emilia-Romagna, Marche, Abruzzo, and Northern Apulia.

✅ A large Italian community between Switzerland and Central Italy

Thousands of Italians live and work in Switzerland but have strong roots in these regions. A direct flight would significantly reduce the long and expensive travel times caused by stopovers or alternative transport options.

✅ A growing tourist destination

Emilia-Romagna, Marche, and Abruzzo are regions rich in natural beauty, historical cities, and stunning beaches, increasingly popular with international tourists. A direct flight would make it easier for Swiss and European travelers to visit these destinations.

✅ Strong logistical potential and high demand

Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg Airport is a major hub with excellent connections to Switzerland and Central Europe, while Pescara (Abruzzo Airport) and Ancona (Marche Airport) are modern infrastructures ready to host new routes.

✈️ What are we asking for?

We urge easyJet to seriously consider introducing a direct flight between Basel and Pescara or Basel and Ancona, meeting the real demand of thousands of travelers.

🇮🇹 VERSIONE ITALIANA 🇮🇹
