Petition to Change Tipping Platform from “Anyday” to a More Employee-Friendly Service
We, the undersigned, are calling for a change from the current tipping platform, Anyday, to a more reliable and employee-friendly service. While the intention of using this platform may have been to provide convenience, the reality is that employees are consistently facing difficulties with accessing, using, and transferring their funds.
A major concern is that Anyday is frequently unreliable. Employees often experience problems logging into their accounts, and even when access is granted, the system regularly fails to process or transfer funds in a timely manner. These repeated issues cause unnecessary stress, financial delays, and frustration for those who rely on prompt access to their earnings. No employee should have to question whether they will be able to access their own money when they need it.
On top of these ongoing issues, Anyday also charges a $1.50 fee every time an employee transfers their own money. This practice is unfair- employees should not have to pay to receive the tips and wages they have rightfully earned. These fees add up quickly, taking money out of employees’ pockets and creating unnecessary financial strain.
In addition to these challenges, Anyday has experienced breaches of security, raising serious concerns about the safety and protection of employees’ financial information. A tipping platform should be both dependable and secure, yet Anyday has proven to be neither.
We strongly believe that tips and wages belong entirely to the employees who earned them, without extra costs, security risks, or barriers. For these reasons, we are requesting that our workplace transition to a different tipping platform that prioritizes accessibility, security, transparency, and fairness for employees.
