We, the undersigned students and concerned individuals, are petitioning for immediate action to address the serious safety concerns at Thrive Residence, where students funded by nsfas bursary are residing.
The Issues:
- The residence is not providing a safe living environment for students, with concerns regarding safety of the student, there is no security not even cameras also equipment to manage 51 students.
- Despite receiving bursary funds, the res owner is not prioritizing student safety and well-being.
Demands:
- We demand that the res owner takes immediate action to address the safety concerns and provide a secure living environment for students.
- We call for regular inspections and monitoring to ensure compliance with safety standards.
