Forms are protected with Cloudflare Turnstile instead of a puzzle you have to solve. Confirm a signature with a code, not just a link Every confirmation email contains a short code as well as a link. If the link does not open, the signatory enters their email address and the code on one page and the signature is confirmed. Transparent consent choices on the signature form You define the purposes for which the personal data of signatories is used. Each purpose is a separate checkbox, so signatories decide one by one what they agree to, and your downloads include only the people who agreed. Choose your own web address for the petition Your petition gets a short, memorable address that you choose yourself. You can change it later, old addresses keep working, and you can add up to 20 short addresses for posters and flyers. Customize the signature form of your petition Choose which details signatories are asked for, mark each one required or optional, drag the fields into the order you want and add up to three questions of your own. A live preview shows the form as signatories will see it. Decide how long the signatories' personal data is kept Choose the retention period for the personal data of your signatories: five years from the creation of the petition, or a deletion date you set yourself. The language versions are cross-linked automatically and each one has its own web address. No automatic user accounts Signing a petition does not create an account, a password or a profile. An account is created only when someone asks for one, and the petition author gets one because a petition has to be managed. No blind one-click signing Nobody signs your petition from a headline alone. The petition, the author's name and the consent questions are all on the page where the signature is given. We do not use your petition to grow our mailing list The signature form asks signatories only for the purposes you chose. We do not add a marketing consent of our own, and signing is never bundled with agreeing to our emails. One Gmail address, one signature Gmail ignores dots and plus tags in an address, and so do we. A single Gmail account cannot pad your petition with dozens of signatures. Collect signatures online and on paper Signatures collected on paper or at an event can be entered into the same petition as the online ones, so one list and one total covers the whole campaign. Every petition gets its own privacy policy A privacy policy is generated for your petition from the choices you make while creating it: what is collected, what it is used for and how long it is kept. You can also give the address of a privacy policy of your own. Petition statistics: page views, visitors and where signatures come from See how your petition performs: page views, unique visitors, the share of visitors who sign, the devices and countries they come from, and which channels bring the signatures. Keep your signatories up to date with petition updates Publish updates on your petition to tell signatories what has happened and what comes next. They are notified by email automatically, and you can see how many read each update. Add photos and videos to your petition The petition text is written in a real editor: add photos and videos into the text, plus links, lists and formatting. Images are uploaded to our own storage, so they keep working. Public or private petitions Choose whether your petition is listed publicly or kept out of the petition lists, the site search and search engines. You can also protect it with a password that you share only with the people you choose. Set a signature goal for your petition Choose a signature goal, let it rise automatically as signatures come in, or show no goal at all. A progress bar tells supporters how close the petition is. Manage a petition as a team Invite co-managers to your petition and choose exactly what each of them may do, from writing updates to handling the signature list.
