Good Christian family standing up for what's RIGHT! Sodomy (gay and lesbians) is not only a sin but an abomination! God demolished Sodom and Gomorrah for this same sin-what makes everyone think that He won't do the same with America! He is a God of Love but He is also a God of judgement and wrath! I want this family to stay on TLC because they have rights and they are not hurting nobody in this world. I like how they raised there kids and if you all don't like it then stay out of there life. At least there kids don't get in trouble with the law and do bad stuff. They are there for there kids more then alot of these parents that don't have time for there kids and then they wonder why they get in so much mess. Because the parents that don't pay attention to there kids make there kids think they don't love them. At least the Duggar's love there kids and all 19 of them. They show there love for them. You parents out there want to judge them then we should judge you on how your kids act in this world and how you treat your kids.

 They're perfectly free to say what they want to say.  Freedom of speech protects citizens from unlawful imprisonment for protected speech.  Protected speech *doesn't* mean that you're guaranteed to keep your lucrative television show.  Actions (and speech is an action) have consequences.  They just might have to face consequences.

TLC might not be too pleased with the comments on this particular petition.  There are an awful lot of hateful remarks.  I have the feeling you guys are hurting more than you are helping.  Heh.  That's cool.  Keep it up.  It might get the show off faster.  I'm all for that!

The Duggars, like so many other religious hatemongers out there, are walking the tightrope of freedom of speech VS. hate speech.  It's perfectly legal for them to engage in robocalls like this.  They encourage discrimination against a group of people, but because they don't advocate outright violence, they get away with it.  But it's wrong, just like it's wrong to hold up the bible as "proof" that it's okay to discriminate.

Anyone out there who thinks gay people are gay by choice  need a lesson in science.  Of course, since most religious fanatics refuse to have anything to do with actual science, this whole debacle isn't surprising.

BTW, there are federal laws that prohibit discrimination against gay people.  And before any of you religious rightists start screaming "State's Rights", let me point you to Article VI of the Constitution, which states that federal law is the supreme law of the land and in that case trumps any state law that violates federal constitutional law.

Finally, the Duggars and any other Christian who act like this toward gays/lesbians/transgenders/people of color/people of different religions or cultures:  you aren't acting Christian.  If you are so Christian and believe in Jesus, you'll welcome all people instead of condemning them.

I greatly admire the Duggar family for their great faith in God and the love of family. They're an inspiration of what a good Christian family should be. Not all families are meant to have as many children, but the Duggars have sure made it work and work well. Their children are growing up to be responsible, God-fearing adults.

I love this show I have 12 kids of my own and I just learned a whole lot from them on how to raise my kids in a calm manor and guess what it worked everyone in the household loves each other than themselves

Love the show and all this family stands for. They have a right to follow the teaching of God and the Bible that they believe in. It is a wholesome show and our country needs more people and shows like this.

One of the ONLY decent shows on TV that our family can watch!!  If people don't agree with them, they can change the channel!!  I don't agree with Sister Wives and several others, so I simply DON'T WATCH them!  The same can be for those who don't agree with the Duggar's!

PLEASE keep them onair!!  We love their family and their values and just the good, clean entertainment they provide!
