Re-instate the Halstead Essex Street Lights

Small cost saving creating risks to the community

Break in locally i think the street lights need to be on after midnight

pitch black where we live when the lights go out and am fed up driving to work in the dark and coming home from work in the dark. I do 12hr days so i go in the dark and come home in the dark and feel it is not safe leaving my family

Crime rates have increased and also I don't feel safe coming home late any more. Some people who do shift work must feel very vulnerable.

It's disgusting that so many break ins have occurred
I'm a member of a club in the British legion an one of the old girls were burgled some of them are terrified it's just not on ever since we have no police in our station crimes got worse I think these gangs are targeting small towns are coming from places that have a load of police who are cracking down on it! We need protection too this town is so quaint it's bringing it down such a shame!

Because there has been an increase in burglaries in the area at night. Bleak darkness gives thieves a perfect opportunity .......

Disgusting disregard by local government calls for a united community response. Council tax increase every year with a guaranteed decrease in the services provided. The top level final salary pension councillors should hang their heads in shame.

Awaiting details of burglaries before police station closed and after convinced thus is a major factor too

Because of all the buglaries and very poor police presence

Could we reinstate a police station and a constant police present here too please!

For the sake of saving a few pounds on the lighting, it's costing the tax payer £1000s in insurance claims due to the robbing thieving scum bags in halstead.

For the safety of my town.

Because of all the crime. We are being targeted as victims

I think this town needs them more than ever.

The unlit streets are are an invite for the burglars, crime rate has risen since the turn off

Because I beleave in the cause

Lights should stay on for all our safety and our children lives too!!
