No child should be ignored if they say they are unwell. Especially if in care of a teacher who are meant to be there for there 'well being', my prayers are with the parents

Detention is a another form of bullying. If a child misbehave it is parents responsibilities to punish his or her child not the authority!

This abusive deputy head should be suspended and police should charge him for Naser's death. Why Naser needed all day detention for knocking off a bin.

what a dangerous vindictive person in position of trust working with children. What happened to the safeguarding principles. The school and the Deputy have to answer for this death of a child.

I signed this petition because what happened to the teen was wrong and cruel, the head off that school should pay what for he did. Another child shouldn't go through with what happened.

It's an absolutely disgrace how the teacher / head teacher has treated this child. They should be punished and punished severely. I think they should not take the role of teaching ever again and not be able to work with young kids ever again. He shouldn't be allowed to teach ever and also give him prisonment sentenance.

Because no child should die in school medical history should be known by all those who have contact with the child I hope a lesson is learnt and justice is served !

Unfair to treat a disabled child in this manner. Child protection law means every child matters! This has lead a innocent child to a critical conditions. I believe if this child was white he would of been treated differently. Stop racism.

It was wrong for the school put the children in the ciller. They should never have don that. All the teacher should leave and replace with knew teacher and change their punishment rule.

Shouldnt an adult have been supervising the detention of a child? Should it not have taken place in a room with windows and doors leading onto a main hallway where he could have been seen through windows if in distress or allowed him to show he needed help and allowed him to feel safe and not disorientated by lack of sunlight, air and people? Why was he allowed to miss lessons? Detentions should only take place during breaks and after school. A healthy child should not have been in this position let alone a child with asthma. This is disgusting and the teacher should be charged for manslaughter.

This should not have happened. An investigation is required and school policies changed to ensure this and any child abuse does not occur in schools again.

It's appalling how people are treated. It is obvious this kind of punishment warrants more than just been fired but should be a crime for abuse against a child..
