I'm pretty sure you're the only one in this world who's making a big deal about names that don't have anything to do with today's society. I mean really? Really?
We should be afraid of parents like you. The overly religious parents who keep their children in a bubble until they get older and get out into the real world. THAT'S what we need to be afraid of.

I'll sign your petition if you make these petitions as well.
Ban Religion - you need to protect kids from worhipping a God (or Allah, etc etc etc) who is not here to protect us from stuff like the Holocaust, the Atom bomb, Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Sandy (your city is not looking pretty currently is it?). Why follow a deity who's like an "absentee landlord"? Religion is also the cause of wars throughout history. You want to protect your kids from wars, right?
Ban Media (like the Internet, DVDs, TV, VHS, etc) - because there's a lot of sex and porn on them. We don't want your kids to grow up wanting sex.
Ban Sports - You don't want your kids idolizing people who cheat (performance enhancing drugs), fight (hockey, football, boxing, WWE, MMA, etc), demand lots of money to play a game. You don't want your kids to grow up greedy, competitive, violent, and aggressive, do you?
Ban the Sun - the Sun gives people skin cancer, you want to protect your kids from cancer, right?
Ban the weather - you have to protect your kids from floods, hurricanes, snowstorms, and tornados, right?
Ban Adults: everytime you open a newspaper in any city or country, there's adults lying, cheating, murders, rape, having sex, etc. You don't want any kids looking up to adults. All adults lie. Shame on them for telling kids about Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy. All lies. Do you want your kids to grow up lying? Adults run the government, and all they do is take money from your paycheque, you don't want the government taking money from your kids, right?

Parents like you are the cause behind kids going crazy when they go off to college. I can't tell you how many girls that I saw that were raised by parents like you that went crazy after a few weeks of being at college and started sucking all of the dicks. I had to ask my math professor what number I could use to describe how many dicks they were sucking, and he said they were asymptotically approaching infinity, which means that given an infinite amount of time they would suck an infinite amount of dicks, but that's impossible since everybody dies eventually. My buddies and I would pass girls like that around like we were swapping Pokemon cards or whatever it is that the kids are trading these days.
And it's not just the girls that end up becoming total failures because they're raised by parents like you, it'll damage boys too. They usually end up on all sorts of drugs, and do crazy shit like pick fights with glass doors and lose so bade the tendons in their wrists get severed so they have to go to the hospital. That's something that I actually saw happen in person at my own dorm room my first year at college. I knew another guy that got so drunk and did enough cocaine that humping the bathroom sink until his dick started bleeding was a good idea. Both of those dudes had parents just like you.
So really, you're not doing your kids any favors by doing shit like this. In fact, you're pretty much guaranteeing that they'll be fuck ups.
