We live in Cambridge West and have a permanent dump site on our corner which is disgusting, it smells and has flies all over it. People from all over dump their rubbish there, even though there is a sign and the vagrants come each week and open the bags and when the rubbish is collected half is left behind.We continure to call the municipality, but there seems to be no end to this problem. Why don't the rubbish trucks collect the rubbish outside your door instead of piling them up on the corners and making such a mess when they do the collection. We also need to somehow stop the vagrants from going through the rubbish and leaving the bags torn and open. It is high time we had more competent people to run our city and get the job done instead of having lunches etc and wasting the money allocated for the jobs. I have never seen our city look so bad, it is a shame that it has been left to go to the dogs like this. It seems like the powers that be have no pride in anything at all except their own egos.

If we have to clean up our city and our streets ourselves that's fine, we will do it as long as we don't have to pay people to do this work which they refuse to do. We should send out the message to them that if they are not careful we will do the job ourselves but they will not be paid if we have to do it ourselves!

What a mess... shame east london city council. but what can yu expect, things were just handed over with no regard for our city, it is soo disgustingly dirty, even the open areas and parks are neglegted, electricity off at our work, it took 5 workers, 2 trucks to put a trip switch on at the top of a pole...

Im staying in King Wiliamstown Zwelithsa Township. The sitiuation is very bad in KWT and Zwelithsa the rubbish hasnot been colected in Zwelithsa since last week and in town its very bad the streets are very bad . this posses a health risk to the communities as they may acquire diseseas due to the rubbuish that is not been collected. I argue all the parties concerned on this matter to rsovle this and try reach an amicable decision as soon as possible for the betterment of the Buffalo City Municipality
