Install bollards outside all shops with perpendicular car parks!

I read the article the day of the accident and hoped that the mother and daughter were okay. After reading the injuries sustained and the long road to recovery the lady has ahead this could of been avoided if there were bollards already in place, I fully support the petition.

To prevent this ever happening again.

Because as history has shown there is a need for these. I shop at both of these shops and feel this is becoming an increasing necessity to keep shoppers safe.

I think it is a brilliant idea better to feel safe when you are shopping .than to suffer an injury you might not fully recover from.

Bollards should have been installed years ago, it is obviously a Duty of care and Safety issue and should be included in proposed planning. Good luck with your petition.Roy Unwin

Because I have known of six instances of cars careering into shops in Whangarei in recent years and we need to. Proactive in making our pedestrians safer.

Because I shop in this complex often and wish to feel safe when doing so. Reading your horrific injuries and the weeks and years of recovery made me want to help.

I can't think of a better way to prevent accidental or belligerent smash and grab crashes across pavements and into shops. Congratulations for setting up this petition.

Because I don't want this to happen to anyone else, simple as that.

For safety reasons, to protect people from any serious harm that could be caused by possible incidents such as this in the future if there not bollards.
