NJ gun laws only help to criminalize law-abiding citizens and deny us of our constitutional right for self-protection. Conversely, criminals are routinely able to plea down their sentences when convicted of committing a crime with a firearm. This is ass-backwards.

My freedom is being corrupted by these laws that are currently in place. I am tired of it. I want to be able to carry, and defend my life and my families. That's it. I am a veteran. I protected everyone's with my life, and still uphold that oath today. So please let me have my rights to carry.

The NJ gun control laws do nothing to stop criminals and crazies from getting guns. Criminals and crazies get them illegally. EVERYONE knows this. Even the politicians who draft and pass gun control laws know this. The NJ gun control laws are designed to discourage law abiding citizens from getting guns and keep them helpless. They are not only ineffective laws for stopping criminals, they are also blatantly UNCONSTITUTIONAL. These laws don't stop criminals, they create helpless victims. They need to be repealed asap.

I don't own a firearm but our constitution is law!! The second amendment allows people to carry. In this ever changing world it's probably a good idea!!
