I signed this petition coz I have been a victim of house breaking 10 yrs ago nd I still live in fear of it happening again. I'm now living in a flat, too scared to own my house..

Crime is out of control not only in Lenasia but the whole of South Africa.We cannot be safe in our own home towns, we constantly looking over our shoulder or wondering whose @ the door or whose car pulled up the driveway. The death penalty needs to be brought back. We all work hard to earn a living and criminals get away easily. If government wont bring this to an end then the citizens of the country should stand up for themselves by uniting against these criminals and show them no mercy.They have destroyed lives and taken loved ones from families and friends, for what? For money, cellphones, tv. Have they No heart, no shame, no mercy, no feeling. We should Unite to fight criminals and put a STOP to this.

As an ex-Lenasian, I am horrified at how the crime rate has escalated. Law and order needs to be restored. The residents should be given every assistance to reclaim the streets from these thugs.

Lenasia is under siege by criminals. We don't have enough policing. We, tax paying citizens, feel like we are left to fend for ourselves. We feel abandoned by the state!!!

Lots of people are getting robbed, murdered, raped. The community is living in fear. Children cannot play outside their own homes even under supervision. Please assist.

We living in scary times where there is no safety and protection. Criminals reign free and we as good citizens are made victims of meaningless crimes where lives mean nothing. Old people have fallen prey to violent breakings and youngsters murdered for cellphones. This has got to stop.

I live in Lenasia. Im sickened by all the crime. Criminals are getting bolder and more inventive. Im afraid for myself and my kids who are still growing up. I dont feel safe in my own home.

The entire country is falling into the hands of criminals. People dont feel safe walking in the street no matter what time of day it is thats how bad lenasia is at the moment. We dont even feel safe in our own homes now a days with these ruthless thugs at every corner,ready to steal our stuff torture us and kill us for pleasure. Its time our community stand together and take back our freedom.
