I've sign the petition,because the problem is not Sylvester, but the people responsible for his safety...

Lion can't escape if fence is maintained properly

Sanparks is responsible for Sylvester escaping.They need to own up!

Please save Sylvester. If the fences were properly in place the lion would not have the desire to escape again...afterall...lion in captivity is hard enough. Please dont punish Sylvester for human incompetance....we speak for those who cannot speak for themselves!

Its not nesasary to kill the lion just realocate him. Theres not much lions left safe what we have

No animal should be killed because it is deemed a problem because of human intervention. And Sylvester has become an Icon in this part of the world. Killing him is not the only option !!

I am concerned that an innocent animal is going to get killed because stupid humans caught him/ raised him as their private farm/game animal.
The owner of the park should face up to his irresponsibility and be fined for allowing this and knowingly allowed this to happen again.
The problem is all these 'wanna be' game lodge owners/ rangers. Leave the animals in the wild where they belong.

Do not that the neglect of the custodians lead to the death of this animal !

Why did they not take prevention to keep him inside. Put him in another bigger place, why kill him?

SANParks must find a compassionate alternative, they are here to protect and conserve our precious animals, not murder them! Don't kill Sylvester!
