Underberg is growing more and more every year, the risk of transporting kids back and forth is becoming more dangerouse and expensive. I see no reason there should not be a High school here in Underberg....there are enough children and parents needing this service.

I have friends in Underberg and I believe this school would benefit them as it would save them sending their daughter to a boarding school. Children should not have to be sent away to school.

This school has taught me and many other teenagers to spread their winds and shine bright! This school is our home and its being taken away from us... Our dreams and futures depend on Underberg High School and together we can achieve great things if we are given the opportunities! Please... We need this!

It is totally necessary to offer high school education to the children in this district. Education is the key to a viable future, what could possibly be the reason for not registering this school?

When did the government take away our right to decide where we can have (private) schools? Aren't we all clever and independent enough to make decisions for ourselves, decisions which don't affect anyone negatively? Do we need NannyGov to tell us what is best for us? No. It is time to get tough with these education department bullies.

I agree compelety with what "angrydad" is impling. Just look at the departments previous record of recent decision making and how it has caused nothing but damage to the communities that need the most positive attention... Who are they to decide this?

The Underberg High School is
of critical importance to the children who are enrolled at it and the families they represent. To say there is no need for it does not follow. It is not being proposed as a school - it actually is one, and those who attend it would not attend it if they had no need of it...

My daughter goes to UHS and it means the world to her to be close to home and to not have to board. UHS is an amazing highschool and i believe that it should be registered.

My children are both at primary school in Underberg, and I really want the option of a good High school based on strong Christian principles, teaching my children good values and providing a strong moral base close to home. Children have a right to be educated close to home and not have to go away to boarding school. How can Govt. try to force parents to send their children away when a viable option can so easily be given with the stroke of a pen and the will to follow through with assurances given.
