Impeach Trump and Bar Him From Holding Any Public Office

We, the undersigned, call on the United States Congress and the House of Representatives to immediately pursue impeachment proceedings and all constitutional remedies—including disqualification from future office—against Donald Trump.

This petition is based on court verdicts, official findings, public records, and Trump’s own actions and stated plans.

Criminal Convictions and Proven Fraud

Donald Trump is a convicted felon. In 2024, a jury found him guilty on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records, making him the first former U.S. president convicted of felonies. These crimes were committed to conceal unlawful conduct.

In addition:

• A New York court found Trump civilly liable for persistent financial fraud, determining that he repeatedly falsified asset values to deceive banks and insurers.

• A court ordered Trump to pay damages for illegal misuse of charitable funds through the Trump Foundation.

These are established findings of law, not allegations.

Impeachments and Abuse of Power

Trump has been impeached twice by the U.S. House of Representatives for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

His conduct includes:

• Defying lawful congressional subpoenas

• Attacking judges, juries, prosecutors, and the free press

• Using public office for personal and political benefit

• Undermining checks and balances essential to constitutional governance

Election Subversion and Democratic Breakdown

Trump:

• Attempted to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election

• Pressured state officials to alter vote totals

• Promoted knowingly false claims of election fraud

• Encouraged and incited the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol to halt certification of a lawful election

These actions directly threatened the peaceful transfer of power.

Human Rights Abuses and Immigration Enforcement

Under Trump’s administration and continued political influence:

• Thousands of children were forcibly separated from their families, causing documented and lasting psychological harm.

• Immigration detention expanded despite documented deaths, medical neglect, and abuse in federal custody.

• Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was increasingly militarized, with publicly reported fatal shootings during enforcement operations and serious concerns about lack of accountability.

• Civil rights organizations and local officials have raised alarms about Fourth Amendment violations, racial profiling, and excessive use of force, including against U.S. citizens.

The federal government has a constitutional duty to protect life and due process—not enable unaccountable violence in civilian communities.

Sexual Exploitation, Trafficking, and the Epstein Files

Jeffrey Epstein was a convicted sex trafficker who exploited and abused minors. Despite overwhelming public interest and survivor demands:

• Epstein’s full network and records have not been fully disclosed

• Epstein died in federal custody under circumstances representing a profound failure of accountability

• Trump had publicly documented social associations with Epstein and, while in office, failed to ensure full transparency or an independent investigation into institutional failures connected to Epstein’s crimes

Cases involving child sexual exploitation demand maximum transparency, accountability, and survivor-centered justice.

Defunding Public Protections and Endangering Lives

Trump has repeatedly cut or proposed cutting funding for:

• Public health and pandemic preparedness

• Environmental protections

• Social safety-net programs

• Oversight and regulatory agencies

These actions disproportionately harm vulnerable populations while weakening the government’s ability to protect the public.

Authoritarian Planning and Future Threats

Trump and aligned organizations have openly stated plans to:

• Purge career civil servants and replace them with political loyalists

• Expand executive control over independent agencies

• Use federal law enforcement to target political opponents

• Roll back voting access and civil rights protections

These plans represent a direct threat to democratic governance and constitutional limits on executive power.

Our Demand

No one is above the law. A convicted felon who has engaged in fraud, abused power, undermined democracy, enabled human rights abuses, and openly plans further authoritarian actions is unfit for any public office.

We demand that Congress:

1. Initiate impeachment proceedings

2. Conduct full public investigations

3. Enforce constitutional disqualification from office where warranted

4. Restore accountability, transparency, and the rule of law
