We are aware of allegations involving a 21-year-old student who has reportedly been subjected to a gang rape by two individuals associated with prominent rugby clubs within the Boland Rugby Union. We call on the relevant authorities to treat this matter with the utmost seriousness, including opposing bail where appropriate, and ensuring that all parties involved are held accountable through due legal process.
We stand in solidarity with the victim and all survivors. We respect their dignity, privacy, and right to justice. This is not about public exposure—it is about accountability, protection, and systemic change.

WE FURTHERMORE RESPECTFULLY REQUEST THAT BAIL NOT BE GRANTED FOR THE ALLEDGED PERPETRATORS AND THAT THEY REMAIN BEHIND BARS FOR THE DURATION OF THEIR TRIAL.
The Social media attack on the victim is also unavailable and the accused person's has done nothing to stop it or to even try minimize it because they enjoy the attention and support.
