House Bill 948 is an Ohio House Bill that addresses concerns relating to E-bike and E-scooter safety. House Bill 948 includes: Adding a section to drivers education that addresses sharing the road with cyclists, safety videos to be created and posted on the Ohio Department of Transportation and Department of Public Safety websites, and design and distribute to all e-bike retail sellers and driver training schools educational pamphlets pertaining to e-bikes. Our organization, E-ride: B-safe, is raising awareness for e-bike and e-scooter safety in order to promote safer streets and sidewalks in Ohio.
