PROTECT THE SALISBURY LGBTQ+ PRIDE CROSSWALK

Salisbury MD's Mayor Randy Taylor has announced that he plans to get rid of the pride crosswalks downtown outside the library. These crosswalks are painted to represent the gay pride flag and the trans pride flag. This is an act of homophobic political aggression from a Mayor who has a history of homophobic actions (refusing to raise the Pride flag in June 2024).

Mayor Randy Taylor's homophobia cannot continue to go unchecked. Queer residents of Salisbury deserve to have a safe and loving community and the PFLAG volunteers that have worked tirelessly over the years to maintain the upkeep of the crosswalks deserve to have their work perserved.

Salisbury should be a welcoming and accepting city to ALL. The pride crosswalks are a symbol of love and respect, removing them is an act of hate. Please sign this petition to show Randy Taylor that you oppose his reprehensible actions.
