The Kirk Proclamation

My fellow Americans. On September 10, 2025, a great man, Charlie Kirk, was assassinated in Utah for his religious and political beliefs. This was a tragedy unlike anything our country has seen in 24 years. Regardless of your political or religious beliefs, this man fought for our ability, nay our right, as Americans to have peaceful discourse to resolve our differences, and he was murdered for it.

---

So, we now stand at the precipice of a new age, one where we, the next generation of Americans, must choose how we resolve our differences. The precedent has now been set that violence is the answer, but I ask this, would that honor the memory of Charlie Kirk? No, it would not. So now my fellow man, I ask you, not to stand aside and allow chaos to reign but to step up in confidence and stand strong against the forces of evil that would kill a man for seeking the peaceful solution. I don't ask that you lay down your anger, for you are justified in it, but that you channel it, not into more bloodshed, but into progress for the beliefs we, and Charlie Kirk, stand for. No longer can the political radicals of the world get away with calling for the murder or death of political opposition by their sly-worded messages encouraging this behavior. We as Americans, and parents of future generations, have the responsibility to stand up and fight against this, but to do so honorably.

---

So, here is my proposal to President Donald J. Trump. We, the American people, and Charlie Kirk elected you to see this country brought back to its roots and former glory. Therefore, we officially ask that, in the face of the death of one of the great voices and men of our time, that you would step up and put an end to the terrorist that are posing as political activists, on all sides, in our country. We ask that you would make our cities safe again and protect our God-given constitutional rights, not only from foreign threats, but also the domestic ones that have just slain a great man, and have also attempted to take your own life as well. Protect those who have put you where you are, and stop those who would harm innocents, or threaten our rights through violence. You have the authority, and the time for catering to the "politically correct" is over. We ask this because our options are limited and the path forward is one of blood and evil across this country, unless you step in. People are angry. YOUR people. And we now ask that you become our voice, just like Charlie was.

Finally, upon submission of this petition, and this being the primary reason for it, we the American people ask that a memorial be erected for Charlie Kirk in this nation's capital, to immortalize his message and legacy, but also to serve as a reminder that violence is not the answer to our differences. Charlie said very often, "where discourse ends, violence begins," and this very principle is why he continued to go out and do what he did regardless of the risk to himself. He believed in a better America, and he believed in the peaceful and free exchange of ideas without threat of violence. This should be our path forward, pressing on in the same manner that Charlie lived his life. These ideas should be immortalized in our nation's capital so that we have a constant and permanent reminder that there is another way.

To the potential signers of this petition, I implore you to sign this regardless of your political or religious beliefs. This petition is not about left or right, Republican or Democrat. This is a petition to immortalize the idea that we can resolve our differences WITHOUT resorting to violence. THAT is what Charlie stands for. And regardless of if you agree with his individual beliefs, I think we can all agree that his principles of civil discourse stand true for us all, no matter what side of the aisle you are on.

---

Charlie Kirk was the best of us. These principles, that he lived and died by, should be the principles on which we build the future of this country, and this petition is to help give us an eternal reminder of that by immortalizing this great man who loved this country and gave his life to see it become better.

If you agree with these principles, please sign and share this so we can avoid more senseless bloodshed, and so we can build this country on foundations of a civilized society that we all want for ourselves and the future of this country.
