TREE PRUNING IN COLBYN.

PETITION: TREE PRUNING, TO PREVENT POWER FAILURES IN COLBYN, WARD 92.

To the Speaker of Council, City of Tshwane Council.

We, the residents of Colbyn, Ward 92, submit this petition to request the urgent pruning of overgrown trees that are interfering with electricity lines and causing frequent power failures in our community.

We reported and submitted several escalations to the relevant department.

These unmaintained trees often touch or damage power lines during wind or rain, resulting in outages, property damage, and safety hazards. Regular maintenance is necessary to ensure uninterrupted power supply and protect public infrastructure.

We therefore request that the City of Tshwane:

Conduct immediate pruning of all overgrown trees near electricity lines in Colbyn, Ward 92.
