Unionville livestock ordinance text amendment

We are looking for support in our attempt to have Unionville town council amend the text for the land use ordinance pertaining to special setbacks for livestock in section 175 of the land use ordinances.  The current ordinance states that any livestock,  including chickens,  must be a minimum of 150 feet from any property line if it is not a bona fide farm. We think the minimum feet distance should be greatly reduced or removed all together, at the very least for chickens.  We also believe the ordinance should be relaxed greatly on smaller animals like goats and pot belly pigs, among others, in small numbers. If you are in agreeance with us, please show your support by signing this petition in opposition of the current ordinance.
