Willen Primary School Issues

Dear All

There have been some changes at Willen Primary School that I believe havent been for the best.

1) No coat hooks just lockers, so our kids coats are being stuffed into tiny lockers wet along with bags and books:

a) this is not good for the coats

b) this is not good for the contents of the locker

c) this is not good for the children when they put said damp coat back on

We are not asking to remove the lockers as they are good for bags and books, just not coats, and the school is very fortunate to have them.

 

2) No teachers in the playground before school nevermind no lining up

a) No lines means less discipline

b) No teacher means less discipline and no parent contact

c) We as parents are allowed to leave a child at school from 08.30 and many do, what if we all left ?

d) The fact that a teacher doesnt come out to collect the children means you have to trape through the school and find them to talk about an issue therefore making those that work late and in fact interupts the teaching day - a quick word in the playground used to work so why stop?

e) All children in upper school piling in through one door - a health and safety issue waiting to happen
