Taxi violence continues to pose a serious threat to public safety, disrupt communities, and undermine trust in our transportation systems. It is essential to take a firm stand against all forms of intimidation and violence within the transport sector. Every individual has the right to move freely and safely, without fear or coercion.

Equally important is the right to freely choose one’s mode of transportation—whether it's a private car, bus, train, e-hailing service, or taxi. No group should dominate or restrict this choice through force or fear.

We call for peaceful, regulated transport services that respect both passengers and providers—and uphold the basic right to safe, accessible, and voluntary mobility for all.
